  • 05/19/12 - 8:39PM ETRussell Westbrook : Possible Leg Injury?
Westbrook slipped when trying to plant on the Staples Center floor on the final play of the second quarter Saturday and needed medical attention.
It's uncertain how serious the injury is yet - the consensus from a handful of writers on Twitter suggested it wasn't serious, but we'll see what happens when he comes out for the second half.

  • 05/18/12 - 10:49AM ETBlake Griffin : Playing Through Aches and Pains
Griffin (knee, ankle) is now dealing with a hip flexor as well, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Add this to Griffin's growing list of injuries. The 23-year-old suffered the injury during Thursday's Game 2 against San Antonio, but he was able to finish with 20 points in 37 minutes. He hauled down just one rebound, however, and the team will have to climb out of its 0-2 deficit to the Spurs with both Griffin and Chris Paul (hip) banged up.

  • 05/17/12 - 3:29PM ETChris Bosh : (Abdomen) Staying in Miami
Bosh (abdomen) did not travel with the Heat to Indianapolis and has been officially ruled out of Game 3 and 4, Fox Sports' Sam Amico reports.
Not much of a surprise here, as Bosh is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. Don't expect Bosh to return for the Heat's second round matchup against the Pacers, but he could be back in action later this postseason if Miami continues to advance.
  • 05/17/12 - 7:26AM ETBlake Griffin : Still Limited by Knee Injury
Griffin (knee) wore a brace for Game 1 and says he continues to be limited by the injury, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Griffin said he wore a new brace for Game 1 and it felt "a little better," but said he was only at "75 to 80" percent prior to the matchup against the Spurs. It showed to an extent, as he scored 15 points and added 9 rebounds, both below his season averages. Griffin will likely play in Game 2 on Thursday but probably won't be at 100 percent.
